Concession) as a payment of 167.75 taels of silver to KATOH
CO., dated
August 9, 1929, and paid by the SUMITOMO BANK, LIMITED, in Shanghai.
- The payment was made by and between two foreign parties, stationed in
Shanghai in 1929. Selected payment method - silver - indicates that
sycee currency was still widely circulated in China at that time.
