The shown saddle sycee had been checked by 3 public assayers in
Kunmin - the capital city of Yunnan: Tong Fu Sheng, Ser Ching
Sheng and
Duang Tong Bao, and was allowed by them to circulated in the city by
stamping assayer's chop.
In spite of obtaining Kunmin assayer's approval for circulating, such
saddle sycee might not be accepted by a region other than Kunmin, unless
double checked by assayers of the region. The assaying systems in
Yunnan usually had their regional limits which made saddle sycee not be easy to
pass through.
With respect to circulated in the region outside of Kunmin city, the
saddle sycee was double checked by an assayer named Ma Yun Zuei, and
stamped on with his chop.
