Question from Mr.Kevin Tompkins (27-Oct-98): Can you tell me what this is? I was told it was some type of ivory token for gambling or trade?

This item should be from the early Republican period (1912-1935).
It's quite possible to be a gambling token, because ivory (if it's ivory) is too expensive
for circulation.
