Gambling Tao Kuang T'ung Pao

Size 22.9 mm

Obverse: Tao Kuang T'ung Pao - legend of Tao Kuang period (a.d.1821-51), Emperor Hsuan Tsung (a.d.1821-51), Ching Dynasty (a.d.1644-1911).

Reverse: Yi Fen - 'one fen' or 'one candareen', unknown reverse inscription for such coin.

Kuang character style on the obverse is different style than other characters.

I think that it is fantasy issue.

There are a few different varieties of the Tao Kuang reign title with fanciful reverse.
Yours is a Yi Fen. There are also Yi Liang and Yi Qian.
These were gambling chips used at that time.
