Vietnamese coin Chih Sheng P'ing Pao
/Chih P'ing Sheng Pao/ (Shjoth, Annam, N 27) was issued by Li-Li,
an Vietnamese comander, during Chinese Domination and War of Independence (1414-1428)
before the establishment of Vietnamese Li Dynasty (1428-1433) reign.
I received two messages about that coin from
Mr.Y.K.Leung:
More detailed versions of Chih P'ing Sheng Pao origin you can read in the Mr.Y.K.Leung letter.
Coin legend should be Chih Ping Sing Po. "Chih Ping" is the
Vietnames Ruler's reign title. "sing" in Chinese means "For the honour of
the king" and "Po" means treasure or coin. The right sequence should be
Chih Ping Sheng Pao.
