On Saturday, 6 May 2000, the American Numismatic Society will sponsor an informal forum on

China's Currency in the Twentieth Century

Brief presentations are invited on any aspect of Chinese coins, paper money, or tokens, from 1900 to the present day. Those who wish to give a presentation should contact one of the two organizers of the forum:

The meeting will be open to the public. There will be a $40 registration fee for all participants, to be paid at the door (not in advance). Those who expect to attend should contact one of the organizers, or Ms. Tarnisha Smart-Santiago, extension 217.

The meeting will run from 10:00 to about 4:00. Lunch will be provided.
